Working with Linux devices

The Kaleido UI solution has already been ported on a number of different platforms, including Linux.

Digital Airways was an early member of Mobilinux, an industry-wide program for the creation and promotion of Linux-based handset reference architectures. Digital Airways joined the program in April 2005 upon its launch and ported the Kaleido UI engine on the platform.

In 2007, Trolltech and Digital Airways partnered to port Kaleido on Trolltech's Qtopia® Greenphone™.

Kaleido fully leverages Qtopia, Trolltech's unrivaled application platform and user interface for Linux. Kaleido now allows Qtopia-based Linux devices to be customized and introduced in record time.
